GSM London is committed not just to providing a strong higher education experience to their students, but are also committed to enhancing the career opportunities of their cohort. This is why their Careers Centre hosted another excellent event at the start of February which was aimed at giving their students some fantastic preparation for the world of work.
Assessment Centres are a vital part of the modern recruitment process for businesses, so the GSM London team rightly thought that it would be a good idea to put a number of students through their paces with a practice graduate session which included all of the tasks and challenges usually presented at these centres.
The session was held by John Liberty, who is a highly respected former recruiter for the technology giants IBM. The 21 students who were given the opportunity to attend were very positive about the session, which included a numerical test, logic exercises, group discussions and an interactive workshop on recruitment methods.
The activities regularly put on by the active and dedicated GSM London Careers Centre is just one of the many ways in which this excellent higher education institution aims to improve the prospects of their students across both their Greenwich and Greenford campuses.
