Copland Community School student Harrison Mathias received his A-level results a couple of weeks ago and was astounded to find that his AQA business studies course equated to one A-level, rather than the two that Copland had told him it was worth. This meant that Harrison, and two other students, lost their places at universities they had initially hoped to study at.
Harrison will still be heading off to university this September after applying through UCAS Clearing for GSM London courses, and he was ecstatic to discover that they have offered him a place to study business. Upon hearing the news, Harrison has said that he is “really pleased” and he is looking forward to studying in London as the course is “really good”.
