GodKulture Announces Launch of ADVANCE Chicago Creative Workshops

Rotimi Kehinde, the Founder and President at GodKulture, is pleased to announce the launch of a brand new creative workshop series. ADVANCE will offer one class on the first Saturday of each month from 2pm to 5pm.

During the workshops, attendees will be equipped with amazing insights, information and other tools. They will receive insights from exciting speakers, and will be able to network with other creative spirits while having fun learning through team-building games. In addition, students will work on personal creative projects and items throughout the duration of the workshop series.

ADVANCE classes will be held at The Lawndale Community Events Center at 3750 West Ogden Avenue in Chicago, and the very first session is scheduled for January 2, 2016. The theme of the first class is “I am__”.

During this session, participants will learn about the principles of discovering their purpose, and they will also learn how to apply these principles towards the fulfillment of their purpose journey. Other topics included in the first session will include developing a purpose plan, implementing life-goal strategies, and creating and maintaining partnerships with like-minded creative spirits. Attendees will gain insight into understanding the concepts of identity, purpose, and living a value-adding life, as well as being coached on self-leadership.

The second class will be held on February 6, 2016, with a theme of “Dig”, and the goal of that session will be to help participants discover and understand their core competencies.

Pricing for the ADVANCE workshops is simple: first-time participants can attend their initial workshop for free. Afterwards, one-day passes are $25, or participants can purchase an annual pass for $240. There are other pricing options available for groups, vendors, and sponsored participants, as well.

Kehinde said, “I believe strongly that there are many people who have dreams and ideas who just don’t know how to go about fulfilling those dreams. I want to create a community of people that are different but united by a common core: creativity. These are people who want to launch a start-up, discover their purpose, express their art, exchange ideas or get inspired…. These workshops will be that catalyst, where you can meet with other people, learn from other people, and also teach other people; share your ideas, share your dreams, your fears, and see what other people are doing.”
