Ford Commit to Fuel-Saving Technologies

According to Ford, the 185,000 square foot advanced engineering centre located in Michigan will soon be converted to dedicated premises for the electric vehicle department.

One of the main reasons behind the expansion is due to just how Ford technology has advanced in recent years; by the end of 2012, Ford will be offering nine vehicles that will reach above40 miles per gallon, ranging from EcoBoost engines to full electric cars such as the Focus Electric.
