Fidelity Communications Donates FiDO Whole Home DVR Sales to 16 Animal Shelters

Supports Pets in Markets in Five States

During the month of October, Fidelity Communications partnered with local animal shelters in the markets it serves, pledging to contribute a percentage of all new FiDO Whole Home DVR sales to pets in need.
Today, Fidelity announced donations would be provided on over 400 October FiDO sales in Fidelity service markets. The company is now donating $100 per shelter in Missouri, Arkansas, Oklahoma, Texas and Louisiana. Fidelity began offering the FiDO Whole Home DVR Experience to customers last May and has seen a substantial consumer adoption rate.
Receiving donations from Fidelity Communications are: Benton Animal Control Adoption Center, Benton, AR; Saline County Humane Society, Benton, AR; Harrisonville (MO) Animal Shelter; Lawton (OK) Humane Society; Lawton Rainbow Bridge, Lawton, OK; Lebanon (MO) Humane Society; Marshall (TX) Animal Shelter; Maumelle (AR) Friends of the Animals; Nevada (MO) Animal Shelter; James L. “Bo” Bryant Animal Shelter and West Feliciana Animal Humane Society, New Roads, LA; Owensville (MO) Animal Control; Rolla (MO) Animal Shelter; Dent County Animal Welfare Society, Salem, MO; and West Plains (MO) Regional Animal Shelter.
“With our FiDO DVR product employing a canine mascot, we thought this would be an appropriate way to support the communities in our various markets,” said Loren King, Fidelity Video Product Manager. “Animal shelters and Humane Societies make countless efforts to find homes for unserved animals around all of our service territories. Fidelity is proud to support these shelters and what they do for our communities.”
