Kids Go Free (under 11s) and children aged 11-17 save 50% – is the amazing deal this February half-term on four-night family-friendly, guided walking breaks in the Lake District and the North York Moors with HF Holidays.
Designed especially for families with kids of any age, these activity holidays feature a choice of three carefully chosen child-friendly guided walks during the day (easier for younger kids and harder for active teenagers) and family-orientated entertainment in the evenings.
In the Southern Lake District, highlights include a woodland walk to Tarn Hows, the Langdale Valley, the summit of Coniston Old Man as well as copper mines and slate quarries. Accommodation is at the company’s Monk Coniston Country House, set right on Coniston Water and enjoying superb views of the surrounding fells.
Or, in the North York Moors, there are walks along spectacular cliff tops and through old fishing villages as well as along the Cleveland Way coastal path – taking in Captain Cook’s monument – and an ascent of Roseberry Topping. Accommodation is at the company’s Larpool Country House, situated within 14 acres of gardens and woodland on the outskirts of Whitby.
Starting 18 February, these four-night breaks cost £339 per adult, with children (11 to 17 years and sharing with an adult) paying £169 each, whilst under 11s are free of charge. These prices include full-board, the full programme of organised walks and social activities, transport to and from the walks and the services of HF Holidays’ leaders.
In addition, grandparents accompanying a family booking – at least two full-paying adults and one child – receive a 10% discount. If you think you’d like a walking holiday but have your heart set on somewhere further afield, why not look at our excellent range of walking holidays in Spain?
