Louisville, Colorado (PRUnderground) July 23rd, 2015

F4 Foundation, a charitable community-restoration organization based in Boulder, Colorado, announced plans to volunteer at Heritage House Ministries. Volunteer work will include various activities, services, and on-going interactions with at-risk adolescent girls, primarily through motivational speaking and mentoring. To provide mentoring, Heritage House requires mandatory training and extensive background checks.

Heritage House Ministries provides a nurturing and loving home for adolescent females ages 12 through 21 who are at-risk and are unable to remain in the care of their primary family. Through individual therapy, group therapy, and behavioral reinforcement, girls are provided a framework with which they can overcome the obstacles they have encountered in their lives. The Heritage House Program implements, coordinates, and helps develop services and treatment, which is made available to the girls through various resources and outside support.

“With Heritage House Ministries, there is obviously a local connection,” said Misty Krasawski, Executive Director, F4 Foundation. “Over four hundred at-risk adolescents completed Heritage House’s Program, with usually eleven girls residing there at one time. Being essentially in our backyard, we quickly felt a social responsibility. In turn, we fostered a local commitment to complete Heritage House’s Mentor Training so we could uphold our foundation’s mission, while positively impacting many young lives.”

Direct donations go toward every day house hold needs like, food, cleaning, and school supplies. All contributions work together to support Heritage House’s practical transition system, which is modeled on structured parameters, where the girls work within, achieving points for each milestone. “Fortunately, there are dozens of ways to get involved and help,” continued Krasawski. “Every contribution makes a huge difference, however, for F4 Foundation, we felt passive action left a lot on the table. We understand that at-risk girls need more than the bare essentials. They need direct, personal contact. With the approval and support of Mike & Jeanne’ Jones (Founders and Co-Directors) of Heritage House, we’re in a position to make a big difference.”
