Excellent review for Scenic Tours

Scenic Tours have come up trumps in a recent report from The Telegraph, who sent one of their travel experts on a river cruise in Europe. He sailed down the Rhine between Amsterdam and Basel, taking in wonderful sights whilst staying in the luxury and comfort that our ships offer, and had many refreshing things to say about his journey.

Scenic Tours are a luxury river cruise provider and the Telegraph’s travel expert feared that he was too young for a cruise of any kind. Contrary to his initial fears, he found there were travellers on board who were in their twenties, and they were not in the minority. His opinion of the river cruise itself was exceedingly high; he enjoyed the little touches that Scenic Tours had to offer, such as his croissant topped with a cherry and power shower complete with rainbow lighting effects.

As opposed to ocean cruises, he found that there was always something to look at on a river cruise, whether on board or stopping off at one of the destinations along the river. He saw everything from chocolate shops and medieval castles to a museum dedicated to Karl Marx. Excellent guides took him through both the landscape and history of life along the Rhine, a river cruise that provided him with a fascinating insight into one of Europe’s greatest waterways.
