Hosted by Oceana Hotels, ‘Turkish Art Uncovered’ takes place on Saturday 5th May, starting at 7:30PM, with part of the proceeds going towards victims of last year’s devastating earthquake in the Turkish city of Van, which left over 60,000 people without a home, as well as the local Julia’s House children’s hospice charity.
The evening will also include a selection of brilliant Turkish entertainment, including live traditional music and dance performances, as well as a drinks reception and canapés greeting you upon your arrival.
The following day, 6th May, will see the art display, which features ceramics, abstract and acrylic paintings, open to the public from 10am to 5pm. This day-long exhibition will give you the chance to peruse these diverse pieces at your leisure, whilst relaxing in the comfortable surrounds of the luxurious Cumberland Hotel.
Tickets for this great occasion are available at £20.00 per person, and can be booked online through Halibas, the local arts organisation that has helped to arrange and coordinate the event.
