Bromley Training and Assessment Centre (BTAAC) launch new energy efficiency domestic heating course

Bromley Training & Assessment Centre (BTAAC) are proud to announce they now have approval to run Energy Efficiency Domestic Heating course.
BTAAC are based in Bromley Kent, and have been running a wide range of gas courses for many years. They are affiliated with Cskills Awards, City and Guilds and of course all trainers are on the Gas Safe Register.
This energy efficiency training course is primarily aimed at plumbers but would also be useful for others including gas engineers and renewable energy installers, looking to self-certificate their installations through one of the Competent Persons Schemes (CPS)
The qualification has been developed not only as a learning aid but to give proof of competence that installers and maintainers of domestic heating and hot water systems can comply with the new Building Regulations Part L.
Course entrants will be assessed on
- Energy usage with the environment
- Legislation and building regulations
- Domestic heating market and SEDBUK rating of appliances
- The installation of high efficiency appliances
Central Heating Specification contained in Part L.
Boiler sizing and whole house boiler sizing methods for houses and flats.
