Online education company offers digital learning courses to VSU students

Tampa, FL (PRUnderground) April 28th, 2015

Ed4Online is pleased to announce that it has formed a partnership with Virginia State University (VSU) and will now be offering its catalog of Career Training, Professional Development, and Personal Enrichment Courses to the college’s continuing education students.

Ed4Online’s hundreds of online educational courses will be provided to VSU via a privately branded classroom, accessible by students through the college’s adult continuing education department. In providing secure and easily navigable access to its online continuing education courses, Ed4Online is helping VSU to cater to those students seeking a more versatile learning environment that conforms to their schedule, learning pace and educational demands. VSU will offer a variety of online courses that vary in both length and cost.

“Convenience and a good education do not have to be opposite balances on a scale and in fact, they’re proven to work in tandem with one another, as is evidenced through our digital learning model,” said Dr. Tricia Seymour, Chief Operating Officer at Ed4Online. “We’re excited to offer online learning options to VSU students and relish the opportunity to help the college expand its reputation for quality learning possibilities.”

Founded in 1882, VSU’s 236-acre campus currently supports more than 5,000 students, each pursuing success in the college’s 55 baccalaureate and master’s degree programs, or doctoral degree programs. VSU also supports an extensive continuing education program through its Office of Continuing Education and strives to maintain its position as a leader in providing high-quality educational services to the citizens of Virginia and beyond.

“We realize the tremendous importance of making education accessible and attainable not only on our campus, but to those in our communities as well,” said Arthur Fridrich, Director of Distance Education at VSU. “Ed4Online’s online catalog of digital learning courses is absolutely something we hope to leverage to help continue to provide educational options to those seeking them.”
