Detroit Motor Show: Bentley Continental GT V8 Unveiled

This week has seen the opening of the 2012 Detroit Motor Show (or The North American International Auto Show), which is one of the largest automotive events in the world and runs from January 9th to the 22nd at the COBO Centre in Detroit Michigan.

There are a total of 53 new vehicle debuts and 32 of which are worldwide introductions, one vehicle in particular that has made its debut this week to the automotive industry, is the new eagerly awaited Bentley Continental GT V8.

The new Bentley features a twin-turbo V8 under the bonnet, producing 500bhp, this new power-plant can deliver acceleration from 0-60mph in 4.6sec. This new V8 Bentley will be available during spring 2012 and will be the main option in the coupé GT and cabriolet GTC models.
