One way of greatly increasing the longevity of both your projector and your projector bulb is to ensure that you provide your projector with plenty of “breathing room”. Identify where the fan exhaust is on your projector. This is where all of the heat from the projector exists. It is essential that this exit is given sufficient room in order to avoid damage to the projector bulb. Make sure you provide at least two to three metres of space between the projector and any solid surface such as a wall.
