Lucy Pratt is a contemporary British artist, who is known for her vibrant paintings conveying vivacity and a real zest for life. She has exhibited in the USA, the Far East and the UK and her work is held in many public and private collections throughout the world. Her upcoming exhibition at Clarendon Fine Art in London is much anticipated and looks to be one of the exhibitions not to be missed by the art world.
Titled ‘New York, London and My Kitchen’, the exhibition displays a variety of subjects, including London landmarks, vibrant New York streets, busy chefs’ kitchens, skiing scenes, British coastal seascapes and landscapes, all with Lucy’s unique take on things.
Lucy’s work is continually evolving, with new subject matters being added. Her chefs’ kitchen paintings first made an appearance last year, at an exhibition at Fosse Gallery in the Cotswolds, UK. Their popularity led to Lucy being permitted to draw inspiration from the kitchens of the Waldorf Astoria in New York. Langans Bar in Piccadilly, London also makes an appearance.
The exhibition opens with the private view on 6th February, continuing until 20th February. Contact Clarendon Fine Art for further information on 0207 499 0947 or visit their website www.clarendonfineart.com.
