Christine Wu to Perform with Kristin Chenoweth on “The Tonight Show with Jay Leno”

Violinist to the stars Christine Wu is set to perform with musical guest Kristin Chenoweth on the January 16th broadcast of NBC’s The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, airing at 11:35 p.m. (ET).
According to NBC, other guests include Mark Harmon and Figure Skater Gracie Gold.
A regular musician for NBC’s The Voice and FOX’s American Idol, Wu has appeared on previous Tonight Show episodes with Voice winners Danielle Bradbery and Cassadee Pope.
Wu also recently performed live with hit-maker David Foster, Andrea Bocelli, and others at the David Foster Foundation “Miracle Concert” in Toronto.
In the way of studio projects, Christine has been working most recently with Billy Ray Cyrus. They recently recorded a new version of “Hope is Just Ahead,” a song she performed in 2013 with Cyrus and his daughter Brandi on CNN’s Piers Morgan Live. Wu also participated in the recent music video shoot for a hip-hop remix of “Achy Breaky Heart.”
A diversely talented and classically trained violinist, Christine Wu can also be heard on Lorne Balfe’s Original Motion Picture Soundtrack for Salinger, set to air as the 200th episode of PBS’ American Masters Series on January 21.

A violinist since age 3, Wu made the risky decision in 2006 to leave her tenured position with the Houston Symphony Orchestra, to pursue a career in the recording, television, and film industry. She has since become solo violinist and cellist for such industry legends as David Foster, Paul Anka, A.R. Rahman, and Lorne Balfe.
