Los Angeles, CA (PRUnderground) January 7th, 2014

Solo violinist to the stars Christine Wu entered a Los Angeles studio today to record a music video with Billy Ray Cyrus.

Wu could not elaborate about the project, but according to rumors, they’ll be recording a hip-hop version of “Achy Breaky Heart.”

On December 31, Larry King tweeted: “Just spoke with @billyraycyrus on the phone – he’s recorded a hip-hop version of ‘Achy Breaky Heart’ – he’s excited about it & so am I!”

Cyrus tweeted yesterday, “Big day tomorrow. Looking forward to a great video shoot.”

Wu tweeted this photo of herself today after being fitted by the wardrobe department.

Wu previously performed “Achy Breaky Heart” with Cyrus on The Arsenio Hall Show in 2013.

Christine has also been working with Cyrus on a new version of “Hope is Just Ahead,” a song she performed last year with Cyrus and his daughter Brandi on CNN’s Piers Morgan Live.

The new version of Hope was recorded at Jamie Foxx’s studio and features a legendary GRAMMY nominee singing with Cyrus. Christine also checked in at the Recording Academy yesterday. Further details are expected soon from the 2014 GRAMMY’s.

Christine can also be heard on Lorne Balfe’s Original Motion Picture Soundtrack for Salinger, set to air on January 21st as the 200th episode of PBS’ American Masters Series.
