Los Angeles, CA (PRUnderground) October 3rd, 2013

On the heels of her recent performance with Billy Ray Cyrus on Piers Morgan Live, violinist, cellist, and composer Christine Wu returns to the stage with Cyrus for the October 3, 2013 broadcast of The Arsenio Hall Show.

Wu will be seen playing solo electric cello alongside Cyrus and Fred Durst as they perform “Lately,” and on solo violin for “Achy Breaky Heart.”

A violinist since age 3, Wu made the risky decision in 2006 to leave her tenured position with the Houston Symphony Orchestra, to pursue a career in the recording, television, and film industry. She has since become solo violinist and cellist for such industry legends as David Foster, Paul Anka, A.R. Rahman, and Lorne Balfe. She’s seen regularly on hit shows such as The Voice, American Idol, America’s Got Talent, Dancing with the Stars, and The Tonight Show.

Behind the scenes, Christine is a composer/arranger for film and gaming soundtracks, commercial jingles, and rock, pop, country and urban records. Several of Christine’s short films featuring her original music were recently featured on PBS.

Christine can also currently be heard on Grammy Award Winning composer Lorne Balfe’s Original Motion Picture Soundtracks for Salinger and The Frozen Ground.
