“Violinist to the stars” Christine Wu is set to perform “Wake Me Up” with Aloe Blacc on the Season 5 Finale episode of NBC’s The Voice.
In previous Voice episodes, Ms. Wu performed with CeeLo Green, Michael Bublé, Cassadee Pope, James Wolpert and Cole Vosbury, among others. Wu is also a solo artist for David Foster, Paul Anka, and Lorne Balfe, and can be seen regularly on other network shows such as American Idol, America’s Got Talent, and Dancing with the Stars.
A violinist since age 3, Christine Wu made the risky decision in 2006 to leave her tenured position with the Houston Symphony Orchestra, to pursue a career in the recording, television, and film industry. She has since composed, arranged, and performed strings with a long and diverse list of A-list musical artists, including Beyoncé, Celine Dion, AR Rahman, Bono, and Kiss, to name a just few.
Ms. Wu recently performed as solo violinist at The David Foster Foundation Miracle Concert in Toronto. Earlier this year, she performed with Billy Ray Cyrus on CNN’s Piers Morgan Live and The Arsenio Hall Show.
