Carbis Bay Holidays Strikes Gold in Quality Tourism Scheme

This St Ives self catering holiday accommodation provider has achieved the highest possible standards at the properties it manages, ensuring quality holidays for guests.

Holiday lettings company Carbis Bay Holidays now boasts the highest number of ‘Gold’ standard properties in Cornwall, following an excellent assessment by national tourism body VisitEngland.
The company, which markets luxury holiday accommodation in the St Ives area of Cornwall, has been awarded Gold status at 106 of its four and five star properties following a recent Quality in Tourism assessment.
As well as achieving this highest possible award at almost all of the properties it manages, Carbis Bay Holidays were judged to have exceeded all quality expectations and scored much higher than the national quality benchmarks.
The Quality in Tourism scheme, operated by VisitEngland, is the nationally recognised award scheme which provides useful information about accommodation standards so potential guests know what to expect before they make a booking.
The scheme assesses properties on a number of factors including the quality of rooms and standard of facilities. It also measures the cleanliness of holiday accommodation, for which Carbis Bay Holidays scored a full 100% for all of its properties.
