Brilliant New 800 Lumen Nightstick TAC-540XL Hits the Specs Sweet Spot

Bayco Products, Inc. announces a versatile new addition to its expanding Nightstick® Xtreme Lumens (XL) product portfolio of tactical lighting products: the TAC-540XL Xtreme Lumens Metal Multi-Function Tactical Flashlight.

This TAC-540XL tactical light is ANSI rated at 800 Lumens and includes an intuitive tail-cap switch that provides momentary or constant-on functionality, plus a set of user selectable high, medium, or low-brightness settings, as well as a disorienting strobe. At a cost leading price point that appeals to every budget, the Nightstick TAC-540XL uses a CREE® LED emitter in conjunction with a high-efficiency deep parabolic reflector to create a sharp-focus flashlight beam of 205 meters (more than 670 feet).

Power comes from a pair of CR-123 batteries (included) installed into the CR-123 Battery Carrier (included). For those customers who prefer rechargeable, users can also upgrade by adding the optional rechargeable Lithium-ion battery, charger, and power cords.

The TAC-540XL housing, bezel, and tail-cap are all constructed from aircraft-grade 6061-T6 aluminum with Type III hard anodized finish to withstand the toughest of environments. This impact and chemical resistant housing is IP-X7 rated waterproof, has a non-slip grip with large textured tail-switch, and features a 1-inch handle diameter for the ultimate ease of control. These characteristics are proof that performance and durability are not optional, but built by design through-out.
