Paris Plages 2012 – This free summer event sees various areas of the city turned into beaches with their own theme. The event runs from July 20th through to August 19th with most of the events being held at the square in front of City Hall, the bank of the river Seine and along the Quai de la Villette. Rock en Seine – Friday August 24th to Sunday August 26th will see the Domaine National de St Cloud host a number of musicians performing for an eager crowd. Catch Green Day, Sigur Ros, Foster the People and Placebo rock out in the Parisian sun.
Tim Burton – The exhibition – Up until August 5th, you can head to La Cinematheque Francaise to catch a wonderful exhibition on the works of acclaimed director Tim Burton. There are over 700 pieces of his work, including storyboards, Polaroid’s and drawings that span his career and body of work.
Nickelback – Canadian pop rock band Nickelback are heading to Zenith Paris as part of their ‘Here and now tour’ and will be treating the eager crowd to classics such as ‘How you remind me’, plus other favourites from their 7 studio albums.
