From April 1st 2012 till March 31st 2013, Disneyland Paris will be celebrating 20 years of the French theme park being open and they are set to hold some special events and celebrations to mark this milestone.
As if Disneyland Paris wasn’t a magical enough place to visit, if you head to the theme park during these celebrations you can catch ‘Disney Magic on Parade!’, which looks to be the park’s greatest parade yet. The anniversary event is said to be a reworking of the 15th anniversary parade ‘Disney’s Once Upon a Dream Parade’ with all new characters, costumes and music.
From April 1st through to September 30th 2012, the park will have extended opening hours which will no doubt be to ensure everyone can see the brand new night-time spectacular ‘Dreams’ in all its glory. This magical show is said to use fountains, projections and special effects to take visitors into the world of Disney Dreams.
Other 20th anniversary events are said to include a new magician-themed meet and greet with Mickey Mouse and ‘Main Street, U.S.A Celebrates’ which little is known about currently.
With the start of the celebrations still a few months off, there is still time for further announcements and clarifications about the special events which are to mark the park’s 1992 opening.
