The Freeze festival is back in London for its fourth year and bringing its own unique mix of exciting ski and snowboarding events plus great live music acts together for the UK’s premier winter sports and music festival.
There will be three main snowboarding competitions held at the 2011 festival. The ‘LG Big Air World Cup’ will see the world’s top snowboarders compete to be World Champions, The ‘Whitelines Battle of Britain’ will see the top 16 British snowboarders competing against each other and the ‘EU vs the World’ will see teams from Europe and the rest of the world compete to see who is the best.
Skiing fans will be able to watch 32 contestants compete in the ‘International Ski Big Air’ and the best in British skiers to compete in ‘Ski Union Battle of Britain’.
The music will no doubt be the highlight of many people’s trip to the Relentless Freeze Festival and the 2011 line-up looks fantastic. Friday will see acts like Dub Pistols, Beardyman and headliners Groove Armada take to the stage. Then on Saturday, Spector, The Joy Formidable and The Streets will keep the crowds entertained.
