A stay in a one of the lovely Hideaways English country cottages is great at any time of year, enjoying long country walks with loved ones and a relaxing evening by the fire. For some families, the holiday would not be complete without the beloved family dog coming along to enjoy those walks and evenings with, which is why around half of the cottages available with Hideaways are designated as pet friendly.
Although there are a few guidelines that dog owners must adhere to during their stay, it is incredibly easy to bring your furry friend on holiday with you. Bring their favourite bed for sleeping in with you and you are ready to go; enjoy a long walk along Dorset’s Jurassic coast or run along a beach in South Devon before returning to your cosy cottage for a well-deserved glass (or bowl!) of water and a rest.
The details of the guidelines are set out on our website, but it should be noted that guide dogs are accepted at properties which do not normally allow pets, so you can choose whichever cottage suits the fancy of you and your dog. At Hideaways, we have a range of Dorset, Somerset, Cornwall, Sussex and Wiltshire cottages that could be the perfect cottage retreat for you and the whole family, four-legged friends included.
Hideaways offer a great selection of luxurious yet affordable holiday cottages throughout England and the Welsh borders, from Cornwall to the Cotswolds. With conveniently located peaceful countryside retreats and picturesque seaside properties both available, we at Hideaways provide all kinds of guest with the perfect holiday experience.
