Baby Boutique in Encino Offers New Toddler First Aid Class for Parents & Caregivers

Here at A Mother’s Haven Boutique & Educational Center, we believe that safety and first aid for toddlers and young children is very important. Because of this, we are partnering with Save A Little Life, Inc to start a new first aid class, especially for mothers, fathers, and caregivers of toddlers and preschoolers. We are looking forward to providing small, interactive toddler first aid classes where participants can get hands-on experience and make sure their specific questions and concerns are answered.

There are many incidents and situations that can arise with small children. This is the time when accidents can and will happen. That is why in our new first aid course, we will cover head injuries, sprains, fractures, dislocation, burns, choking, and of course, bleeding and bandaging. These emergencies can be scary situations, but our class will teach participants how to stay calm and do the correct procedures so that they will not be at a loss when an emergency comes up and will know exactly what to do. A small procedure can save a child’s life.

In our first aid workshop for toddlers, parents, grandparents, and nannies will also learn about how to help a child and when to seek medical assistance in cases of poisoning, seizures, and allergic reactions. We offer the class participants the chance to get familiar with all these situations and more. Plus this toddler first aid class offer chances to learn and participate so that everyone knows the proper procedures and how to do them.

The first Workshop on First Aid for Toddlers and Young Children will be on Tuesday, June 19th from 6:30-9pm.  Participants can register online for one adult or for two adults.
