For Soldiers' Sacrifice Music Video

Provo, Utah (PRUnderground) January 20th, 2015

Axle Creek, a modern classic rock and country band announced they received an Online Film Award for “Best Music Video” at the film festival held at the Infinity Center in Salt Lake City, Utah on January 17, 2015.

The video and song, which focus on the sacrifices the men and women of the United States military make to keep the country free, was shown at the event with other productions.

“Axle Creek did a fantastic job on the video and song,“ said Warren Workman, CEO of Workman Productions and lead reviewer for the Online Film Awards. “The message sizzles with meaning and highlights an important issue we are facing in America today.”

There were 15 categories for producers to enter their films in (Winners List): https://workmanproductions.com/online-awards-film-festival-winners-announced/.

Soldiers’ Sacrifice, a country song, is the third track on the album, The Journey Home. The new album includes ten original compositions that have a classic rock feel, but the band often blends blues and country into the mix. Randy Porter’s vocals deliver a texture reminiscent of Bob Seger, Sammy Hagar from AC/DC, Nickleback, and the Zac Brown Band.

“Our goal is to create quality music with a message of substance,” said Bob Carey, songwriter and producer on the project. “Each song and story has meaning relevant to our times.”

About Axle Creek

Our goal is to create quality music with a message of substance. Each song is filled with meaning relevant to our times.

Music from Axle Creek has a classic rock feel, but the band often blends a bit of blues into the mix — there is a strong country feel on the slower songs. Randy Porter’s vocals deliver a texture reminiscent of Bob Seger, Sammy Hagar from AC/DC, Nickleback, and the Zac Brown Band. Our motivation is interwoven with the tapestry of inspiration/creativity that is often sparked by the things we encounter in our world, the choices we make, and the resulting experiences they bring into our lives. We hope the music gives listeners a lift when they listen. Axle Creek will release their debut album, The Journey Home, on January 27, 2015. The music will be available on our website, iTunes, and Amazon, as well as other digital outlets.
