Ambient Bamboo Floors has launched four new flooring designs, all manufactured from eucalyptus, the latest and most exciting renewable flooring material.

Since its inception in 2005, Ambient Bamboo Floors has remained committed to being a leader among eco-friendly flooring providers. In keeping with that ongoing commitment, in July 2015, the company launched four new and exciting flooring styles: Strand Woven Eucalyptus Aged Bourbon Antiqued, Strand Woven Eucalyptus Cafe Brown Antiqued, Strand Woven Eucalyptus Burgundy Antiqued, and Strand Woven Eucalyptus Cocoa Bean Antiqued.
These floors offer the same superior quality and environmental responsibility that you have come to expect from Ambient Bamboo Floors’ products. Strand woven eucalyptus flooring is extremely durable, and with a Janka rating that is more than twice as hard as traditional oak flooring it resists dents and wear better than many of the more expensive wood flooring options on the market today. Most importantly, the materials are sustainably harvested from a rapidly renewable source, as eucalyptus timber regenerates in as little as 14 years.
The new collection is an example of premium handscraped (antiqued) eucalyptus flooring. All new floors are available in planks that are 4 feet long and 5 inches wide, and they may be installed using either a nail-down or glue-down method. They can be glued down to concrete and are also warranted for use in basements.
