Allegiant Investigations adds Digital Forensics expert to team

Allegiant Investigations is pleased to announce that Chuck Easttom has joined the Dallas-Fort Worth area Private Investigation company as Lead Digital Forensics Investigator.

Easttom comes to Allegiant with over twenty years experience in the Computer Science and Digital Forensics fields. In his new role at Allegiant Investigations, he is responsible for directing and conducting Digital Forensics Services including Network Forensics, Systems Forensics, Computer Forensics, Mobile Device Forensics, and Forensic Data Analysis, as well as eDiscovery Services.

Easttom holds 32 computer industry certifications including:
– Certified Cyber Forensic Professional (ISC2)
– Certified Hacking Forensic Investigator (EC Council)
– Certified Criminal Investigator – American College of Forensic Examiners
– Certified in the Forensic Examination of CCTV Digital VVTR Surveillance Recording Equipment
– American College of Forensic Examiners
– Certified in Oxygen Certified Phone Forensics
– Numerous Computer Security Certifications…CISSP, ISSAP, CEH, and others

He has authored 19 computer science books and textbooks including 3 books on cyber crime and forensics, many of which are used by universities to teach computer security and forensics. He is the author of Certified Cyber Forensics Professional guide published by McGraw Hill, and has published papers in forensics including “Introduction to Windows Registry Forensics”, “Introduction to Phone Forensics”, and “The History of Computer Crime”.

Easttom is a member of the American College of Forensic Examiners. He frequently teaches forensics to state, local, and federal law enforcement agencies. He is a part-time college professor and world-wide conference speaker. His computer security and forensics courses are approved by the U.S. Department of Homeland Security National Initiative For Cyber Security Careers and Studies (NICSS).
