A’ Industrial Design Awards 2014 – Last Call for Entries

Time is running out, product manufacturers & designers worldwide only have a little more than a week left to enter their designs to the 2014 A’ Industrial Design Awards.

Today, A’ Design Award & Competition announced its last call for entries for the annual, international A’ Industrial Design Awards which recognizes outstanding industrial design products and projects worldwide. Based on the number of entries and countries, A’ Design Award & Competition is the World’s most important juried design competition, attracting over 10,000 entries from 150 different countries every year in over hundred different categories.
The A’ Industrial Design Awards is open to all different categories of industrial design based on the Locarno classification; any type of industrial design can be submitted for award consideration with the exception of weapons. Entries will be judged based on evaluation criteria such as choice of materials, in-depth of development, added functionality, ingenuity, ergonomics, user friendliness, aesthetics, creativity, originality, marketability, benefits to society as well as category specific criteria such as convenience, ease of use, ease of maintenance, practicality, packaging, quality of finishing, uniformity, efficiency, social and cultural aspects. Entries will be peer reviewed and anonymously judged by a 50-person jury panel of established academics, prominent design professionals and influential press members.
Laureates of the A’ Industrial Design Awards will receive the “A’ Design Prize” which includes a series of PR and marketing services to promote the award winners in addition to the 3D printed award trophy, the best designs annual, certificate of design excellence, exhibition in Italy and two-person invitation to the Gala-Night and Award Ceremony in Italy. Each award winning project will have its description translated to over twenty languages and communicated to thousands of editors worldwide. Winners will also get complimentary press release preparation and distribution service and award winning works will be eligible for editorial placement at numerous press partners. Laureates of the A’ Product Design Awards are granted lifetime license to use the “Award Winning Design” logo and graphic as a part of their communications and marketing. The A’ Design Award Winner logo is an internationally recognized seal of quality that helps consumers for their product purchases.
